About Logan
Logan’s path to becoming a therapist began in the classroom, where he worked as a high school special education teacher. In this role, he supported adolescents with a wide range of learning, emotional, and behavioral needs, which deepened his appreciation for human resilience and the profound impact of feeling understood and supported. Working closely with teens during formative and often challenging years inspired Logan to transition into the field of therapy, where he continues to focus on creating safe, nurturing spaces that promote emotional growth, self-awareness, and confidence.
Logan has a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and teens, recognizing that these developmental stages can be filled with rapid change, emotional intensity, and uncertainty. He helps young clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood difficulties, school-related stress, identity development, peer and family relationships, and major life transitions. Logan understands that teens and adolescents often struggle to find spaces where they can speak openly without fear of judgment, and he prioritizes building a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, validated, and respected.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Logan takes a person-centered and collaborative approach, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique emotional and developmental needs. He frequently incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and build emotional regulation strategies. Logan also utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients explore different parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion, fostering greater self-understanding and internal balance. In addition, he integrates Narrative Therapy to support clients in reshaping the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences in ways that feel more empowering and aligned with their values.
While Logan specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, he welcomes clients of all ages and stages of life. His goal is to provide a grounded, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel supported in reflecting on their experiences, strengthening self-awareness, and moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
Logan practices under the supervision of Dr. Soheila Hosseini, PhD, Licensed Psychologist.
